FolderMirror mirrors selected source folders to destination folders on 64-bit Windows. It supports multiple folder pairs, initial synchronization, automatic change monitoring, system tray operation, Windows startup and import/export of settings. FolderMirror is a free Windows utility for automatic one-way folder mirroring. It keeps selected destination folders aligned with their source folders, supports multiple source-to-destination pairs, reacts to file changes, can start with Windows and run in the system tray, and can import or export saved mirror settings. It works with local folders, external storage and locally synchronized cloud-service folders. FolderMirror is a lightweight Windows utility for automatic one-way folder mirroring. For each mirror, the user selects a source folder and a destination folder. The source is authoritative, and FolderMirror adjusts the destination so that it matches the current contents of the source. It can monitor multiple source-to-destination pairs at the same time, perform an initial synchronization, react automatically to later file changes, run in the Windows system tray, start together with Windows, and automatically begin mirroring after launch. Folder pairs can be selected normally or by drag and drop, and saved configurations can be exported and imported. FolderMirror works with ordinary folders available in Windows, including local folders, external drives, network-accessible folders and locally synchronized Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive folders. It does not sign in to or communicate directly with those cloud services. FolderMirror is not a traditional two-way synchronization tool and is not a replacement for a separate backup. Files or folders that exist only in the destination may be removed during mirroring, so users should verify both paths before starting.
